Transit of the first shipment of Chinese goods to Iraq through the Caspian port complex

Activation of a new branch of international corridor "One Belt One Way" from China by rail to port of Aktau, Kazakhstan, which is transited to Caspian port by combined transport method and then to the countries of the region, the first consignment of 82 TEU walnut containers worth half a million dollars entered Caspian port from China via the China-Kazakhstan-Iran corridor and was transited to Iraq through the Anzali Free Zone customs.

So far 107 merchant ships passed through sea route of this corridor and over 9200 TEU containers of base goods of country have been imported or Iranian goods have been exported to China through this route, he pointed out to transit of goods through China-Kazakhstan-Iran corridor (Caspian port) to Iraq said due to Iraq's accession to the TIR Convention, is expected to expand transportation of goods through this transit corridor through the Anzali Free Zone to Syria and the Mediterranean Sea, on the other hand, according to recent ruling of Justice Administrative in regard to no need for registration order of transit goods from free zones of country we will be witness of transit chain of goods through free zones of country, especially in Anzali free zone.
