during inauguration of investment and infrastructure projects of Anzali Free Zone by presence of Asadullah Abbasi, governor of Gilan, stating that during first four months of this year, his organization has achieved success in realization of investment plans as much as whole of last year; so that  from April to end  of this year of July, value of investments realized in this region has reached 6 thousand billion tomans, which is equal to the total amount of last year and has increased by 350% compared to same period last year.

He announced that realized foreign investment during this period to be 12 million dollars which show increase about 140% compared to same period in 2023, while it was 16 million dollars in twelve months of last year.

He also pointed to issuance of 1,000 economic activity permits in first quarter of this year and export of production units of this region during this time period was 11 million dollars, which has increased by 25% compared to same period last year, and export of produced products of this region to mainland (in country) has increased 134 million dollar mark with an increase of 40%.

Siahkarzadeh stated that during this time exports through this region reached 90 million dollars, which represents a 20% increase compared to 70 million dollars exported last year, and by connecting Caspian port complex to national railway, focus of this organization is to maximum use of this competitive advantage of transit, export and transportation, so in addition to export of domestically produced goods, good measures have been taken for transit of goods between Central Asia and West Asia.

He announced that construction budget of this organization increased from 200 billion Tomans in 2023 to 1200 billion Tomans this year, and regarding the development plan of the geographical area of ​​this region, and also increase  of Anzali free zone area has benefit for province and national interests; an issue that is being considered in the Islamic Council.
