Mostafa Taati Moghadam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the organization, participated in specialized panel of opportunities and limitations of trade development between Iran and the Russian Federation during the Eurasia International Exhibition and explained advantages of first free zone in north of the country, reported Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Anzali Free Zone Organization.

He pointed to two port complexes in Anzali and Caspian port in this region and their connection to Iran's national railway and infrastructure facilities by taking advantage of legal benefits and exemptions has provided appropriate opportunities to facilitate, accelerate and develop trade relations between Russia and Eurasian countries with countries of Persian Gulf.

Taati Moghadam, pointed to Sardar Jangal International Airport in Rasht that have been added to Anzali Free Zone which prepared air transit between two countries and increase of industrial zones about two thousand hectares which led to promoting joint investments in knowledge-based, agricultural product processing and industrial production."

He emphasized on further cooperation with the Guilan Chamber of Commerce and joint chambers and announced his readiness for further presence of Russian investors and businessmen in this region for re-exporting, transit, industrial production and agricultural product processing.

It should be mention that chairman of the Iran-Russia Chamber of Commerce, chairman of Gilan Chamber of Commerce, and managers of Russian companies were present at this panel, and businessmen present at this exhibition also asked questions about opportunities and challenges ahead in this region.
