Increase of Anzali free Zone area from 2500 to 8609 hectare
It should be noted that according to Anzali Free Zone Development Plan, its area increased from 2,250 to 8,609, fourfold increase, population living within the region increased from 10,000 to 50,000, fivefold increase, industrial estate also increased from three to six, and industrial lands increased from 100 to 1,000 hectares, tenfold increase. At the same time number of villages increased fivefold, that is from 5 to 25 villages and isolated area of Anzali Port increased from one spot to five spots, including three neighboring industrial estates and the Sardar Jangal International Airport in Rasht; and finally, the number of counties involved in governance of this region increased fivefold from Bandar Anzali County to five counties: Rasht, Khommam, Astaneh, and Soumeh Sara.
1- Adding of Rasht International Airport to Anzali free zone means addition of airport, i.e. increase of air border to development of transportation relations of Anzali Free Zone, i.e. taking advantage of e airport's distinctive air service position in navigation of Middle East and Eurasia region.
2) Sepidrood Industrial Estate Lands and Surrounding National Lands
Sepidrood Industrial Estate and its national lands, located next to railway station, consist of 1,481 hectares, second most influential piece of land in Anzali Free Zone's lands that can be deliverd to investors. However, out of the total 735 hectares of Sepidrood Industrial Park, less than 150 hectares have been allocated to industrial zones.
Industrial estates of Khomiran and Ziabar, with 150 hectares area, this land of two industrial estate can be delivered to investors who are interested to construct factories for produce different kind of products.
3- Re-adding of over 4,000 hectares of village land that was previously within the Anzali Free Zone area where is appropriate for tourism investment projects by private sector, providing services for rural development and construction plan, along with planning to attract investors in the agricultural sector (greenhouses, etc.) .
